You’ve got to take your hat off to these students

KAWANA Waters State College Year 12 fashion students and the Parent Engagement Committee are combining to host the J’adore Fashion FUNdraiser on Monday, November 27, to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The event will be held at the Innovation Hall on the primary school campus in Sportsmans Pde, from 6pm.

Many past and present students, families and staff have been affected by various forms of cancer, and the students and committee see this event as an opportunity before Christmas to bring the whole school and local community together to have some fun.

Primary and secondary campuses have been busy decorating their “team bra” to auction off on the night.

Some have gone to extreme detail to secure the highest bid, with sequins, paint and messages on their creations. All funds raised will go to breast cancer research as well as helping local families.

Businesses will support the event with pop-up stalls, and donating prizes for the raffle and auction.

Canapes and drinks will be available, included in the ticket price of $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Buy tickets by calling the secondary campus on 5436 9388 or go in person to the administration blocks.

J’adore Fashion FUNdraiser is open to all local businesses, community groups and families.
