EACH October, the Mary Valley Scarecrow Festival comes to life.
The straw creatures are perched among the hills and valleys.
Their creators all vie for a cash prize and the coveted titles of best traditional scarecrow, most artistic creation, and the children’s prize.
You can find scarecrows from Conondale to Dagun and between.
The scarecrow map will be uploaded today, October 13, at www.maryvalleyartslink.com.au/mary-valley-scarecrow-festival so you can plan a self-guided tour of the area.
The festival is a fun time for locals to celebrate the region and all that comes with it.
For more information, email email@example.com
Send through selfies of the scarecrows to firstname.lastname@example.org
And don’t forget the Mary River Festival is on November 11.
